Position: Assistant Professor in Kinesiology and Sports Studies/Exercise Science – tenure track position available.
Responsibilities: The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise science concentration within the department. Candidates are expected to develop and maintain scholarly activities that involve graduate and undergraduate students. Candidates are also expected to participate in service initiatives that provide a substantive benefit to Eastern Illinois University, the College of Education and Professional Studies, and the Department of Kinesiology and Sports Studies.
Qualifications: Doctorate with strong preparation in Exercise Science is preferred, ABD required. Preference will be given to candidates with University teaching experience and NSCA certification.
Starting Date: August 16, 2013
