Position: Educational Leadership Ė tenure track position available
Responsibilities: The EIU Department of Educational Leadership offers Masterís and Specialistís programs for both general administrative and superintendent certification. The successful candidate will teach educational administration courses blending practical applications with theory in on-campus and off-campus locations. The candidate will supervise practicum and field experiences, engage in research, provide service to the department, college, and university, as well as, provide professional service to area educators, administrators and school systems.
Qualifications: The educational/experience requirements for this position are as follows: Doctorate or ABD in Educational Administration, Educational Leadership or related fields, significant experience as a principal and as a superintendent. Preferred qualifications include college/university teaching experience, and evidence of research and service to the learning community.
Starting Date: August 16, 2014
