Admission Requirements
Graduate Study in Economics
To study in the graduate program of the Department of Economics, it is necessary to be admitted into the Graduate School of Eastern Illinois University. Please make sure your application is complete by submitting all materials requested by the Graduate School. To be admitted as a full degree-seeking candidate in the graduate program in economics, students need a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 18 semester hours in economics, although students with fewer than 18 hours will be considered.
