Hosting -what are you going to need?
Parties can either be easy or complex to plan, depending on several considerations. Consider the responsibilities that come with hosting. There are duties before, during, and after a party! Have fun and be safe!
Before the party:
Tell your neighbors you are having a party
Give them your cell number to call if they have concerns
Tell your guests what time the party ends
During the party:
Have one or more designated sober hosts
Remember, you don’t have to drink!
Have food and non alcoholic drinks available
Don’t let strangers in
Keep the bathroom line moving so people do not go outside
Cut off people who are drinking too fast or are getting out of control
After the party:
Do not let intoxicated people wander off, drive, or walk home alone.
Collect cans, cups, and bottles at the door so nobody leaves with open containers
Clean up the outside
