Lavender Graduation, 2016 

Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony conducted at EIU to honor GSM students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the University. Graduating students, including undergraduates and graduates, are invited to take part in the celebration along with their families and friends. Any Eastern student participating in commencement has the opportunity to be recognized.

Kognito Faculty/Staff Online Training Simulations 

Kognito is a company committed to research and outcomes that partners with academic, government and health system delivery entities. They also work to transform environments through challenging conversations and online training simulations. You will observe that there are three available training simulations on the webpage linked below. These trainings include: Supporting LGBTQ Students, At-Risk for Faculty and Staff, and Veterans on Campus. And they are available to any faculty or staff member who wishes to make EIU's campus an even more supportive environment for these students. Click here if interested.
