This is the program for you! The M.A. in Mathematics (Mathematics Education) - Elementary/Middle Level Option is a summer only program that will enable you to gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences that will directly result in your ability to:
You can complete the M. A. in Mathematics (Mathematics Education) - Elementary/Middle Level Option program comfortably in four summers, and in as few as three summers. While the degree program will vary slightly from person to person, the program is generally comprised of 32 semester hours (30 semester hours if thesis is written) selected and approved by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science from the following:
Requirements to apply to the program:
It is recommended (but not required) that you have two years teaching experience.
Summer assistantships are available! An assistantship is a great way to have
your tuition waived and earn a stipend. Apply for a summer assistantship here.
