Welcome and thank you for checking out information on how to become a member of the Louis V. Hencken Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary at Eastern Illinois University. We imagine if you are reading this page you have been nominated or someone told you to apply because of your outstanding contributions to University Housing and Dining Services at Eastern.
As you may know, NRHH is comprised of the top 1% of leaders living on-campus, which means our chapter can have approximately 30members. The purpose of this organization is to recognize those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the development of on-campus activities, programs, and hall government. In addition, our organization strives to further appreciate those residents who have unselfishly rendered their services to the advancement and improvements of the housing system at Eastern Illinois University.
The Louis V. Hencken Chapter is a very active organization on campus. We assist with sustainability efforts in our campus through our housing recycling program, Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser, hold a Leadership Conference, Scholarship Fundraisers, various community service activities and many more events.
