Mission Statement

The Office of Student Affairs Assessment strives to develop a culture wherein the learning, academic success, and personal growth and development of the student are enhanced through constructive examination of the programs developed by various Student Affairs offices.

 

Upcoming Conferences 

18th Annual Fall Forum, "From Assessing Learning to Effecting Change"

Three sessions of your choice in three time slots will focus on successful implementation of Assessment practices experienced by local Higher Education institutions. The focused areas of these presentations include General Education, First Year, capstone, closing the assessment loop, tools, data, change management, to enhance teaching and learning.
Presenters are from many New England universities and community colleges, as well as some out of state colleges. The presenters have been involved on their campuses in the development and implementation of successful assessment plans. Detailed Agenda with abstracts of presentations will be available after Sept. 29 on www.neean.org

Place: College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts

General Registration: $195 for full day including continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and free parking, plus annual membership including issues of the Journal of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness. Graduate Students are invited to attend for $50.

The Community College Conference on Learning Assessment: Conversations that Matter

Valencia College invites colleagues responsible for learning assessment, faculty development, student development, curriculum, institutional effectiveness and regional and program-specific accreditation to Orlando February 22-24, 2015, to learn about effectively meeting the learning assessment needs and challenges faced by faculty, staff and administrators in community and technical colleges.

15th Annual Texas A&M Assessment Conference

This conference seeks to provide a learning environment where assessment professionals, faculty, administrators, and others interested in higher education assessment can network, learn, and continue to share ideas to continue expanding the prevalence of quality assessment at their own institutions.
