Exam 2 Study Guide

The Exam will cover the subjects learned since the first exam. These subjects are: Database Design using Access and Network Technologies.

All of the questions are based on the material posted to the Review folder in D2L.
3) For Network Technologies, you need to read the Network Technologies PowerPoint class notes and make sure you can answers the Summary Questions at the end of the notes. Make sure you can answer to the Network Technologies Questions posted to the Review folder in D2L.
4) For Database Design using Access, what you need is a general understanding of Microsoft Access. Specifically, you need to know what you can do with Access, the meaning of criteria used in a queries, the difference between a regular query and a parameter query, what is a primary key, what is a foreign key, how are relationships between tables set, the difference between the data types, etc. Studying the Access Review Questions 1 and the Access Review Questions 2 is a good way to prepare. Both are posted to the Review folder in D2L.
