· Georgia Burtard received the Distinguished Graduate Student Award for Special Education in 2002.

· Dixie L. Moorman received the Livingston C. Lord scholarship, Spring 2003.

· Nathaniel Brill received the Hobart F. Heller Scholarship, 2002-2003.

· Jennifer Walker received the Special Education Distinguished Graduate Student Award, Spring 2003.

· Danielle Rozycki was a nominee for the 2002-2003 EIU University Union Board Outstanding Student Award.

· Fall 2002 Telefund Awards were received by: Linda M. Cramer, Nicole R. Kopmann, Michelle A. Luetje-Sieks, Sandra S. Maxwell, and Marilyn J. Theobald.

· Thomas Sabey received the 2002 Buzzard Scholarship, College of Education and Professional Studies.

· The Stephen Wayne Kennard Scholarship Fall 2002 was awarded to Amy N. Martins, Geralyn J. Mikrut, and Thomas W. Sabey.

· 2003 Attainment Award nominees were: Nathaniel T. Brill and Amy E. Fuerst.

· Sarah Giebel received the Ivan P. Miller Scholarship Fall 2003
