AFTER WHITENESS

An Exhibition at the Tarble Arts Center

[After Whiteness, the current show at the Tarble, is curated by Suk-Ja Kang Engles, longtime friend of the Dept. and spouse of our Professor Tim Engles, who helped conceive and organize the exhibition. The show will be open during regular gallery hours from January 9 to March 13. It was organized in conjunction with a two-day symposium, also entitled "After Whiteness," with Amy Mooney, Professor of Art History at Columbia College, as the keynote speaker. Suk Ja and Tim were also co-directors of an earlier version of the symposium, held at the Levis Faculty Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in October,2003.—JDK]
