Tradition of Excellence
EIU-AMA prides itself on a tradition of excellence. We have won dozens of awards, including two International Chapter of the Year Awards and five Outstanding Midwest Regional Chapter of the Year Awards. Our chapter's success is clearly a reflection of the dedication and hard work of all of our members.
EIU-AMA attended the International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana in Spring 2010. While there, we were presented with two awards:
Outstanding Membership Activities
This award is presented to those chapters that effectively presented and analyzed their total chapter membership mix over the application planning period. Chapters receiving this award had outstanding strategies and planned activities for member recruitment and retention, as well as member involvement in chapter activities.
Outstanding Community Service
This award is presented to those chapters that participated in community service activities that demonstrate the committment of the chapter to the greater community in which it operates. These activities also demonstrate marketing tactics and the contribution to society's overall quality of life.
