Reports
As a requirement for being an AMA collegiate chapter, every academic year EIU-AMA must submit a planning document, "The Chapter Plan" and a reporting document, "The Annual Report".
The chapter plan helps the Executive Committee plan out their goals and establish their action plans for making progress throughout the year. The chapter plan is ultimately the business plan for AMA, giving the organization direction for the year.
The annual report is a review of what our AMA chapter accomplished for the academic year. The review helps the Executive Committee determine their effectiveness in accomplishing the goals they set in the chapter plan. The review also gives the incoming executive committee a good starting point to plan the next year's events.
The requirements of these documents are designed to mirror the real business world in terms of actual business documents aimed at busy executives. The final rating on the chapter plan and annual report determines the awards the collegiate
chapters receive each year.
