At the April 14, 2011 Chapter Meeting in the Neal Welcome Center

Dr. Bill Weber, Eastern Vice President for Business Affairs, provided comprehensive explanations of this cycle of the EIU's Strategic Planning Process. This cycle involves participations by all of the University's stakeholders, in campus, community, alumni, annuitants, and state groups and legislators. VP Weber shared some of the feedback so far, particularly from student groups. Following that Cameron Craig, 2010-11 EIU Professor Laureate, Geographer, Climatologist, and Director of the EIU Weather Center , explained the activities of the Center and students' projects in gathering weather, information, analyzing and broadcasting it in local Radio and TV stations and newspapers. He explained step-by-step weather conditions indicators, their illustrations and resulting weather activities.
