EIU Annuitants Association 39th Annual Luncheon

EIU Annuitants Association celebrated their 39th year in existence on January 22, 2010 with a Luncheon and entertainment in St. Charles Borromeo Church in Charleston. We enjoyed an exuberant, humorous and melodious performance by the Coles County Barbershop Quartet. The three Coles County Public School Superintendents; Jim Littleford, Charleston, Larry Lilly, Mattoon & Mike Smith, Oakland attended the luncheon. Jim Littleford updated us about Coles County School Systems financial status. State Senator Dale Righter updated us about Illinois State legislative activities. We awarded the EIU Annuitants Association Scholarship to Nicole Dallas and Mary McElwee Coutant was recognized as the Annuitant Ambassador of the Year by Patrice Stratton, Executive Director of EIU Foundation.
