EIU Annuitants Association April 8, 10 Chapter Meeting

At the April 8, 10 Chapter Meeting in the Neal Welcome Center, Representative Chapin Rose provided comprehensive information why the state currently experiencing nearly 13 billion budget deficits and some suggestions to reduce that amount. Following Representative Rose, Rachel Fisher (Interim Director, EIU Student Community Service Office) explained that her goal is to stimulate 12,000 EIU students to devote at least one hour each month to service activities. Ms. Fisher requested annuitants to suggest community service activities for which EIU students might volunteer.
