PUBLICATIONS
All University materials containing enrollment or staffing data printed for distribution off-campus, regardless of source of funding, shall be reviewed and approved by the office of the appropriate Vice President and the Office of Planning and Institutional Studies before printing.
Copy for each publication shall be the responsibility of the requesting college, department, or office with additional approval as may be specified by the appropriate Vice President.
All decisions on format, size and design shall be discussed jointly and agreed upon by the requesting department or office and the Publications Editor.
Specific requirements of size, color, logo, paper stock, etc., for brochures are available in the Office of Information and Publications.
Procedures for Requesting Printing To Be Funded Through the Office of Planning and Institutional Studies: Requests for printing publications shall be made to the Vice President for External Relations, or designee, in accordance with procedures and timetable established by the Vice President for External Relations. The number of printing requests approved each year shall be limited by available funds. Priorities shall be determined by the Vice President for External Relations based on a number of factors, including need, date of previous publication, and recommendations from appropriate deans and vice presidents. Consideration shall be given to more comprehensive publications when a single piece is proposed to serve an entire college or school or a number of departments within a college or unit.
