Welcome to the Geiger County website of Premier Boys State Illinois held at Eastern Illinois Univercity. Our county caries with it a long tradition of excellence in the very first Boys State program in the country. Boys State was put together in order to counteract Hitler's youth camps and the fascist movement for the next generation. Many great men have served in the United States Military, and here at Premier Boys State we try our hardest to honor them for their great duties. The American Legion sponsors this wonderful program in order to instill the values of democracy into the citizens of tomorrow.
