Recycling and Refuse Disposal

Recycling

The University has formed a task force to implement the recycling program. Recycling of waste products is essential in order to reduce landfill requirements for institutions and to ensure the conservation of our natural resources. Contact the Recycling Coordinator at 581-7022 for more information.

Refuse Disposal

Facilities Planning and Management administers a contract that provides for the removal of "normal" refuse from campus. Contact the Recycling Department 581-7022 to arrange for removal of extraordinary amounts of trash and/or bulk items. Contact the University's Safety Officer at 581-7068 for removal of hazardous, infectious, or other special wastes.
