Scope of Duties for Selected Offices
- Monitors employment of all faculty and A&P
- Coordinate recruitment and retention of underrepresented faculty and A&P
- Investigates all civil rights and sexual harassment cases for employees and students
- Provides training on all civil rights provisions (including employment aspects of ADA)
- Diversity training and programming -moving employees toward appreciation and civility
- Professional development - training and programs for administrators and faculty
- Reviews request & designs student accommodations
- Educates faculty about learning disabilities
- Negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements
- Administering the non-negotiated and negotiated grievance process
- Oversees and administers employee discipline
- Advises supervisors and employees alike on supervisory/employee relations matters
- Management of Housing and Student Life
- Diversity training for student leaders and housing programs
