Assistant to the Dean, Lumpkin College of Business and Applied Sciences
Assist and advise the Dean on matters related to administrative services within the College. In particular, as the duties relate to budget, personnel, and operation of the Dean's office. Duties will include: Manage personnel services budget and procedures for the College, administer the summer school budget for the College, manage operating budget for the Dean's Office related to purchases and equipment, serve as the member of and recording secretary for the Administrative Council of the College, manage projects and reports, coordinate special events, demonstrate ability to use good judgment, able to work independently, have an excellent working knowledge of Banner and Argos, manage activities listed on the Administrative Calendar, assure accuracy of Assignment of Duties forms, planning, coordination, manage timely portfolio evaluation process for the College, supervise two staff support positions, interface with the Provost's Office and Budget Officers, serve as a liaison between Dean, Chairs, and faculty in the College, maintain records, and prepare reports and correspondence.
Required qualifications: A Bachelorís degree from a regionally accredited university is required. Experience with managing an operating budget, managing projects, and preparing reports is required.
Coordinating events and experience with Banner and Argos is preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
