Chair Pakey called the meeting to order at 2:01 PM.

I. Minutes

The minutes of the January 13, 2012 meeting were approved by acclamation on the motion of Dr. Carlsward and the second of Dr. Laingen.

Dr. Slough joined the meeting.

II. Communications

A. Lumpkin College of Business and Applied Sciences Curriculum Committee 1-18-12

III. Executive Actions

The following item was approved by executive action:

· Request from Chemistry to revise the hours for CHM 4400

IV. Proposals

12-03 Proposal for an Interdisciplinary Minor in Environmental Sustainability

Dr. Allan moved and Dr. Carlsward seconded the motion to approve the proposal. Dr. Gaines presented the proposal. The proposal was approved unanimously with the edits suggested by the LCBAS curriculum committee.

The meeting adjourned at 2:09 PM on the motion of Dr. Laingen and second of Dr. Carlsward.
