Welcome!

A Letter from the President,

Welcome to the Epsilon Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi at Eastern Illinois University!  My name is Jeese Green and I am the current chapter president.  On behalf of our members I invite you to explore our site and learn about the impact we have on both the Lumpkin College of Business and the Charleston community.  Our chapter strives for excellence in the areas of brotherhood, professional development, and community service.  Our 48 members are active contributors in student organizations across campus including, but not limited to, student government, sorority and fraternity life, and various organizations within the College of Business. Delta Sigma Pi aims to develop our members and encourages active participation in the classroom and in outside activities.

Our first pillar, Brotherhood, is very important to Delta Sigma Pi.  While we work very hard in both our studies and in our service, we also develop friendships that will last a lifetime. Once you become member of Delta Sigma Pi, I guarantee you will never be alone in the College of Business. It’s inevitable to bump into other Deltasigs when you’re walking through the halls of Lumpkin, in the library, and in classrooms campus wide. In addition, our strong alumni base continues to give back to current brothers by relaying internship and fulltime work opportunities, by presenting to the chapter about current issues in the professional world, and by preparing members for upcoming interviews. During Homecoming, we invite all of our alumni back to Charleston to bond with new brothers.

In order to help our brothers secure their financial future and explore possible career opportunities, our members will have the opportunity to participate in a professional trip. Past trips have included U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, Scott Trade Center in St. Louis, and Pittsburgh. During these trips we encourage our members to network with employers in order to learn about potential job and internship opportunities.

Fall recruitment is a very important time as we look for an exciting and promising pledge class to strengthen our chapter.  If you have any questions about our events or about joining our organization please feel free to contact myself or any other member on our executive board. Enjoy the site and GO PANTHERS!

Fraternally,

Jesse Green
