Program Highlights Whether you are just starting to learn French or you are well advanced, the French Language and Culture Institute (ILCF Paris) is the perfect place to study French in Paris. Students come from all over the world to learn French language, culture, and civilization in a private university. "Only Paris is worthy of Rome; only Rome is worthy of Paris." When you visit Paris you will see how true that statement is. Like Rome, Paris is a major world city with ties and influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts. Not to mention the cultural importance of Paris to France and the World. Some famous sights easily accessible by public transportation include the Musée du Louvre, Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris and the Tour Eiffel. ILCF is part of the Catholic Institute of Paris (ICP) and is located in the heart of Paris, near the students' Latin Quarter, the existentialists' Saint-Germain-des-Prés (Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir) and the painters' Montparnasse (Picasso, Modigliani, Chagall). Learn from the best, among 50 qualified and experienced French professors, all specialists of FLE (French as a Foreign Language), and many authors of FLE books. ILCF is one of the best foreign language institutes in France.
Academic Programs You can choose to combine one or more courses: General language, Oral French, Written French, French Phonetics, French culture and civilization (Fine Arts and cinema, communication, history, geography, literature, philosophy, politics, economy...), French for Business, Synthetic writting and argumentation, Proficiency in French, France and Europe : culture courses taught in English Note, there are different enrollment options. In order to get a French student visa, you need to take 21h per week. Student Life & Housing There is always something to do in Paris. Learn more about Student Life at the Institute by visiting the website. ILCF provides accommodation services for students who do not wish to make arrangements on their own. Accommodation within a family - estimated Costs: €99 (booking fee) + €980 per month Housing within a residence, a hostel or a flat - the Jobs and Accommodation Office (jobsetlogements@icp.fr) can advise you once you are pre-registered at teh ILCF. They can give you addresses for housing in residences, student hostels, apartments, etc. Costs may vary widely.
Foreign Entry Requirements Passport Visa Travel Document Systems (TDS) can also provide you with helpful information on every country, including entry requirements, cultural information, travel conditions, economy, and more. You are strongly encouraged to read the U.S. State Department's Consular Information Sheet.
