STA Courses
EIU courses created specifically for the study abroad experience. These courses operate much like seminars, whereby different sections delineate different programs/courses. For the purposes of faculty-led study abroad programming, these courses include:
STA3970 Study Abroad: Faculty-Led
(Arr.-Arr.-1-16) Enrollment in a faculty-led study abroad program. Consists of a mix of lectures, exercises, excursions, and group time. Approval from the Office of Study Abroad is required.
STA3990 Study Abroad: Honors
(Arr.-Arr.-1-16) Enrollment of Honors College students in an Honors-specific study abroad of program. Approval from the Office of Study Abroad is required.
STA5970 Study Abroad: Faculty-Led
(Arr.-Arr.-1 to 16) Enrollment in a travel course led by an EIU graduate faculty member. Consists of a mix of lectures, exercises, excursions, and group time. Approval from the Office of Study Abroad is required.
