The population is very young and culturally diverse. The Griffith Study Abroad Office coordinates overnight and day trips for study abroad students. Some examples include a visit to Byron Bay, hiking in a rainforest, or feeding dolphins on Southeast Queensland's islands. Aerodynamics is an example of a course offered at Griffith University.

Established in 1980, DCU has already grown to a student population of over 9,500. Dublin's population has reached over one million people, but the city still retains its charm and village feel. There are many museums, sights, shops, restaurants, theatres, and pubs scattered throughout the city. Additionally, the small coastal towns that many associate with Ireland are easily reached by traveling just outside the city. Electromagnetism and Analog is an example of a course offered at Dublin City University for Technology majors.

This course compares America's educational system to that of Italy's while students learn about some of the oldest family companies of Florence.  The course also includes visits to some of the world's foremost museums including the Uffizi and the Academia (home of Michelangelo's David).

Eastern Mediterranean University is located on an island in the Mediterranean Sea in the midst of three continents, which makes it easy and economical to travel to Greece, Turkey, the Middle East, and Egypt.  EMU is a comprehensive university with strong programs in many subject areas, including technology.  All EIU students receive a free room at EMU. Technology majors can take lower- and upper-division courses at Eastern Mediterranean University.

Forests, lakes and rivers make it an attractive area for those who love outdoor activities. Växjö is a highly modern town of 76,000 inhabitants. There are excellent sports facilities plus a rich cultural life - with a concert hall, a theater, museums and cinemas. Technical Projects and Report Writing is a course offered at Linnaeus University.

The city of Stirling is where in 1297 William Wallace watched the English army approach across Stirling Bridge before he led the Scots into the battle victoriously. Covering 310 acres, the campus of the University of Stirling is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Technology majors can take courses on Information systems at the University of Stirling, which is a program available through Panrimo.
