Director of Study Abroad
Eastern Illinois University invites applications for the position of Director of Study Abroad. The Director reports to the Dean of the Graduate School and serves as the executive officer of the Study Abroad Office. The Director of Study Abroad, in collaboration with EIU faculty, develops the study abroad curriculum and administers all activities to maintain, enhance, and promote study abroad experiences at the University.

The Office of Study Abroad will be hiring one new Graduate Assistant for the 2014-15 academic year, beginning Fall 2014. The Marketing GA is useful for a creative student, one who focuses on our web updates, social media platforms, office blog, and marketing and promotional materials. The Office of Study Abroad will be hiring two new Peer Advisors for the 2014-15 academic year, beginning Fall 2014. Who is a Peer Advisor? They are returning students who have studied abroad with Eastern, and are looking to share their excitement about study abroad with other students. This is a paid position which can be staffed by undergraduate or graduate students.
