MINUTES OF THE COUNCIL ON ACADEMIC AFFAIRS 10-14-99
The October 14, 1999, meeting of the Council on Academic Affairs was held at 2:00 p.m. in the Arcola/Tuscola Room.

The Minutes of October 7, 1999, were approved as published.
II. Correspondence.

Review of General Education, 98-59.The following items were discussed:
Language - No discussion.
Senior Seminar - Discussion of moving it to three hours.
Transfer Issues - An issue of writing the transfer section to more clearly communicate what we mean was raised.
Implementation Issues
-Members of the Academic Assistance Center were invited to identify potential problems in implementation. No major problems were identified.
-Need to identify exactly what "transfer student" means.
-A discussion of how to proceed with General Education modifications was held.
