MINUTES OF THE COUNCIL ON ACADEMIC AFFAIRS 10-7-99

The October 7, 1999, meeting of the Council on Academic Affairs was held at 2:00 p.m. in the Arcola/Tuscola Room.

    4. Memo from Dr. Claire Krukenberg, Mathematics, response to the general education review, 10/5/99.

    5. Memo from the Health Studies Department regarding General Education, 10/5/99.

    6. Memo from Dr. R. Murray, English, regarding the general education proposal and graduation requirements.

    7. Email from Dr. B. Irwin reminding Faculty that painters were needed for the mural.

III. Review of General Education, 98-59.

The Council discussed the Mathematics and the Physical and Life Sciences segments. Several guests addressed the Council regarding these segments.
