Initial Programs in Special Education
Information Included

	1. Provide evidence that the program area provides candidates with each of the knowledge and skills set forth in the CEC Common Core of Knowledge and Skills Essential for All Beginning Special Education Teachers. (If identical to other program areas, it can be cross-referenced in lieu of repeating matrix.)
	2. Provide evidence that the program area provides candidates with each of the knowledge and skills set forth in the appropriate CEC Specialized Knowledge and Skills Essential for Beginning Special Education Teachers. (Note: For an explanation of the program area matrices see discussion under "the Use of the Term Program Area in the Program Standards.")
