MINUTES OF THE COUNCIL ON TEACHER EDUCATION March 23, 1999

 

The Council on Teacher Education met at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 1999, in the Arcola/Tuscola Room of the MLK Union.

Members present: Dr. Campanis, Dr. Cosbey, Dr. Edwards, Dr. Hussey, Dr. Luft, Dr. McGaughey, Dr. Olsen, Dr. Poulter, Dr. Sylvia, Ms. Traub, Dr. D. Wolf.

Members absent: Dean Hitch, Ms. Hooser, Ms. Lehman.

Staff present: Ms. Bock, Academic Affairs.

Guests present: Dr. D. Bower.

I. Minutes.

The Minutes of March 9, 1999, were approved as published.

 

II. Communications:

    1. CAA Minutes from 3/4/99.

 

  1. 99-4 Student Appeals (SA3, SA4, SA5).

    2. Dr. Luft moved and Ms. Traub seconded the motion to put these items on the agenda. Voting and discussion will be later.

     

  2. 99-4 Student Appeals (SA2).

The item was postponed indefinitely by consensus (this item will be removed from the agenda).
