The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Ally (LGBTQA) WebCenter of Eastern Illinois University strives to support an open, welcoming, and collaborative campus environment for students, faculty, staff, and friends.
Aiming to advance our university’s mission of being committed to diversity and inclusion, the LGBTQA WebCenter brings together campus, community, and national resources for all LGBTQA individuals seeking advice, information, or guidance.

EIU Pride Week
EIU Pride Week was held April 13th-17th. Check out all of the wonderful events EIU Pride and the LGBTQA Advisory Committee hosted. The events listed below were open to students, University employees, alumni, and community members. The PDF version of the Pride Week flyer can be found here.
Lavender Graduation Registration
Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony conducted at EIU to honor LGBTQA+ students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the University. Graduating students, including undergraduates and graduates, are invited to take part in the celebration along with their families and friends. To register please click here. Lavender Graduation will take place on May 8th, 2015 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Tarble Arts Center Atrium.

Kognito Faculty/Staff Online Training Simulations
Kognito is a company committed to research and outcomes that partners with academic, government and health system delivery entities. They also work to transform environments through challenging conversations and online training simulations. You will observe that there are three available training simulations on the webpage linked below. These trainings include: Supporting LGBTQ Students, At-Risk for Faculty and Staff, and Veterans on Campus. And they are available to any faculty or staff member who wishes to make EIU's campus an even more supportive environment for these students. Click here if interested.
