Let the colors of leadership shine:
2012 NRHH Spring Leadership Conference

The 2012 NRHH Spring Leadership Conference will help councils get a jump start to the spring semester. Student leaders will learn what it takes to be a successful leader. Councils will receive the tools they need to host a successful program and get people to stay connected with your council.  Student leaders will get to select their own programs from a myriad of outstanding leadership development sessions.

Registering Your Delegation

All registration is happening through our website at www.eiu.edu/~nrhh Please make sure to register your delegation by January 20, 2012 at 4 p.m.  Each person will be asked to provide their e-number, as a box lunch will be provided during the conference.  You will need to select a delegation leader, who all correspondences will be sent through.

Preparing for the Conference:

In an effort to get council spirit and pride for your council, NRHH will be awarding a ‘spirit stick’ for the council which shows the most spirit and pride.  Your council can receive the ‘spirit stick’ by participating in the following items:

DELEGATION:
You will receive one point per delegate you bring to the conference.  There is no cap on the number of delegates you are allowed to bring. (Points: 1 person =1 point)

2 Minute Roll Call:
We are asking each delegation to create and perform a 2 minute roll call. During this activity we are asking that you introduce each person from your delegation. How you complete this is completely up to you what you do. We are welcomed to tie in your council theme. Be sure to have fun with it and it is appropriate!  Each council will get 2 minutes to perform their selected item. (Points: 1st: 15 points, 2nd place: 10 points, 3rd place: 5 points)

SERVICE COMPONENT:
One of NRHH’s founding pillars is service.  Because of this we are asking your council to bring items to help benefit the local community. More information will be coming soon!  Each council will receive points based upon what they bring. (Points: 1st: 20 points, 2nd place: 15 points, 3rd place: 10 points)
