Council Goals
Name: Ingrid McCallister
Position: President
- Increase communication between the three governing councils
- Build lasting relationships with advisors, supervisors, and Director of Greek Life
- Organize roundtables with enough notice to allow people to attend
- Set up one-on-one meetings with chapter presidents at least twice a semester
- Set up one-on-one meetings with members of executive board at least twice a semester
- Implement successful Panhellenic Pride Week
- Have more Panhellenic Council meetings allow for a casual atmosphere
Name: Jamie Pence
Position: Vice President Internal
- PHC and Greek Life to have a strong, working relationship with faculty
- Establish newsletter for faculty with help of Faculty Senate Liaison
- Work to have all-sorority GPA exceed all-women’s average
- Develop Peer Mentoring program, and publicize
- Work with each chapter to develop effective scholarship program with adequate rewards and incentives
- Help cabinet feel more connected to PHC exec board
- Help cabinet develop effective programming
- Stress importance of communication with cabinet and executive board
- Have one-on-one meetings with scholarship chairs to develop programming and goals
- Recognize chapter members who exceed academic standards
- Encourage chapter interaction with faculty members

- Compile a list of study spots on campus
- Provide information to chapters about various campus, Panhellenic and community scholarships

Position: Vice President of Standards
- To conduct Greek Review board in a fair and timely manner
- To have a non-biased opinion during Greek Review board hearings.
- Hold members of the Greek Community accountable for their actions
- Have effective communication and work well with Interfraternity Counterpart and other PHC and IFC officers
- Keep lines of communication open and respectful between advisors, officers, and director of Greek life
- Keep a positive attitude
- Be visible and readily available
- Maintain organization and time management skills
- Hold effective Standards roundtables to educate individual houses on how to maintain a responsible organization
Name: Kara Shively
Position: Vice President of Membership Development
- To provide educational opportunities for all member sorority chapters
- To let all members sorority chapters know of different educational opportunities that are provided by on-campus services
- To advise and work with Lambda Alpha Delta members
- To work with new member educators on providing their chapters with successful new member programs
- Provide an educational week on various topics for Greek & Non-Greek students
- To have an etiquette dinner for member sorority chapters with Interfraternity Council
- Work with Interfraternity Council and any other recognized student organization on providing a Halt Hazing Week for EIU with different activities throughout the week

Position: Vice President of Risk Management
- Maintain running social calendar
- More involvement with the community on Red Ribbon week
- Hold successful roundtables
- Attend RHO meetings
- Be a resource for all chapters
- Hold all chapters and their members accountable for their actions
- Hold randomized dry functions between fraternities and sororities
- Effectively promote National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week
- Attend all Panhellenic meetings
- Develop a plan to create awareness with drug and alcohol abuse within the Greek community
- Hold an educational for the women of the Greek Community about sexual assault

Position: V.P. Recruitment Retention
- Meet with hall councils and floors to put on a Greek informative presentation
- Recruitment workshop for chapter recruitment chairs and president in the spring
- “Mini” recruitment workshops for chapters in the Spring
- New form of transportation during recruitment to Greek Court
- Improve Gamma Chi training process with more bonding
- Inform Gamma Chis more about ICS & the flag system
- Promote Greek Life/Unity during the “Panther Pal” community service project by writing Go Greek on the shirts, rather than individual house letters
- Start a Potential New member list serve. Once each potential new member fills out a registration forms, continual updates would be sent to them about upcoming events, places, times, etc.

- To work more with the whole campus to help the community
- To establish a PHC Philanthropy

- Involve non-Greeks in Greek Life community service events
- Work closely with VP of Community Service on IFC
- Work with the community service and philanthropy chairs of all the chapters
- Work with the PHC cabinet members of community service projects
- Hold all chapters accountable for completing their community service hours
