a month of mooning

after taking the children outside at all times of the day for a "moonth," the principal approaches you and says, "WHY are you doing that ?
What are they learning that they couldn't from reading a book ?"

Here are some general statements that are wonderful "list of learnings" for primary children ( and of course -- college students, too ).

With the passing of another month, and depending on the age of the student, these can be re-written using more "science-y terms" like crescent and gibbous, etc.

However, with The Learning Cycle -- gobs of explorations come FIRST - -- words and concepts -- LATER.
