you do not have to say why you are missing class -- ( that saves you from lying )
- if you do not ... call --
- you surrender 5 points from your final point total
- if you do not ... make up the absence -- another 5 points disappears
turn in your "make up" NO LATER than a week after your missed class
make up the class by
** doing an optional assignment **
or watching a "science-y" tvee show such as --
- mr. wizard
- beakman's world
- pbs show
- discovery channel show
- etc.
make-up assignment:
- make a detailed log of it's content
- "bullet" some facts that impress ( or depress ) you
- write about your thoughts / feelings concerning this topic
- state how you could "approach" this topic with 5-6th graders
