Mr. Jarrod Scherle was elected as Executive Vice President and Student Trustee after serving 7 semesters on Student Government. Jarrod has held executive positions such as Vice President for Business Affairs and most recently Speaker of the Student Senate. As Student Trustee, Jarrod brings the voice and opinions of the student body to the Board of Trustees. Aside from Student Government, Jarrod participates in Greek Life with his fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, which he helped start his freshman year. He also is involved with running Panther Nation, the student cheering section at EIU Athletic events.

Mr. Scherle graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Finance this May and is returning to Eastern to begin his MBA this year. Hobbies include stock market trading and working out. Jarrod grew up in Red Bud which is located in southwestern Illinois.
