OLD BUSINESS:

Minutes from previous meetings were distributed for approval. Minutes for the October 8, 2007 meeting was approved (Kolling/Paladino). Minutes for the November 12, 2007 meeting was approved with a correction made (Kolling/Strange).

Treasurer's report was presented by Paladino.

Committee Reports:

Parking appeals: Adrienne Paladino stated that there are 13 appeals to be reviewed and considered.

Search Committee for Athletic Director: Sandy Bingham-Porter reported that there are a number of applicants. The next step for the committee is phone interviews.

NEW BUSINESS:

A report was given by Paladino on the meeting that the Executive Committee had with President Perry. Dr. Perry will notify the campus of his findings and feedback from various University groups. We were informed that the new Textbook Rental building is in the design phase. The new smoking policy was discussed and appears that the campus is complying.

Budget Director search committee appointment—a motion was made (Bennett/Boyd) to send forth Adrienne Paladino's name forward to Jeff Cooley. She will represent the Staff Senate on this committee.

Next meeting will be held on February 11 th at 1:15 p.m. in the Schahrer Room.
