OLD BUSINESS:

Committees:

Parking: Suzann Bennett has not heard about any meeting for this committee.

Parking appeals: Adrienne Paladino is going to stop by there and see if there are any appeals for her to review.

CUPB: Cay Kolling reported at the last meeting B Jeff Cooley said that the university is waiting for approval of funds from the capital budget, Steve Shrake updated CUPB on construction going on, and Bill Witsman updated CUPB on Banner.

Environmental Health and Safety: Adrienne Paladine reported that they were having a meeting on November 13, 2007. The committee was going to continue the discussion on campus emergency notification.

University Union Advisory: Brad Green reported that the committee had meet. The following items were discussed at this meeting B the Union will be closed during Thanksgiving week, the bowling alley will be getting some updates, cameras are being installed in the Union, and a cashier from Old Main will be located in the Ticket office in the Union.

Search Committee for Athletic Director: Sandy Bingham-Porter reported that the committee had met. As of now, they have no applications. The committee was told that the reporting structure is going to change for the Athletic Director. The new Athletic Director will report to Vice President Nadler.

Sandy Bingham-Porter reported that she had talked to Adam Due about parking on campus for motorcycles. Tom Leonard is to follow up with Adam Due to discuss his ideas.

NEW BUSINESS:

The Radio-TV Advisory Board needs one person for their committee. Tom Leonard volunteer to serve on that committee.

Tami Duzan reported that a group of people from EIU did go to Indiana State University for the 2007 Staff Council Round Table discussion. Tami stated that it was very informative.

Linda Strange handed out the Staff Senate Constitution. We are going to get that information revised and updated.

Next months meeting will be held on December 10 th at 1:15 p.m. in the Schahrer Room.
