Polanisia jamesii
 

Polanisia jamesii (Capparidaceae), Jamesí clammyweed, is an Illinois-endangered annual herb of open sand prairies. It is found in the central United States. In Illinois it is limited to a few major sand deposits with extensive areas of dry open sand in Carroll, JoDaviess, Mason, Tazewell, and Whiteside Counties.
