The Writing Center of Eastern Illinois University is a place where students can develop as writers and thinkers. We are committed to working with students from all disciplines, majors, and academic backgrounds at any stage of the writing process.

Summer Dates and Hours of Operation
During the summer, the Writing Center is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m Monday-Thursday during the last two weeks of the four-week session and the last five weeks of the six-week session:

  • Four-Week Session: May 29-31 & June 4-7
  • Six-Week Session: June 18-21, June 25-28, July 2, 3, & 5, July 9-12, & July 16-19 

The EIU Writes Blog
