Which is better, the movie or the book? Read these books and decide for yourself! The following titles have recently been adapted for the screen and were released this year, or will soon be released in the theaters. They can be found in the 3000 level hallway. Also on display is a list of the films they have become and their release date!

There are always (at least) two sides to every story. A current book display in the reference lab features books that present opposing viewpoints on several contemporary world issues. Looking for more? Visit the Pro/Con Subject Guide where you can find more information about researching both sides of an issue. Booth has several book series that provide arguments for and against many controversial topics.
The following novels can be found on a display table in the Marvin Foyer of Booth Library (just inside the north entrance). All are available for checkout. This book display, curated by reference librarian Sarah Johnson, serves as a supplementary exhibit for the Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War exhibit and program series held at Booth Library between September 4-October 16, 2015.
To find additional novels on the topic, try a search in the EIU Library Catalog. This list provides just a selection; we have many other Civil War novels available as ebooks!
