Digging the Canal
Since President Theodore Roosevelt signed the treaty that allowed for the Panal Canal to be built, we looked into the created of this modern marvel. We read a book about the Panama Canal to learn about the history, how it was built, problems during construction, and the first ship to go through. Finally, we found where the canal is located by labeling and coloring a map of Panama, showing the Canal and surrounding features.
