The Edward Coles group traveled from Carl Sandburg Elementary School
to Eastern Illinois University for the morning.
During that time, we were fortunate enough to meet with
wonderful Dr. Malehorn.
Dr. Malehorn dressed and taught us exactly
what it was like to live in the timeperiod of Edward Coles.
Dr. Malehorn also gave us invaluable information about the Copperhead Riot.
We enjoyed his wonderful performance with the great ol’ southern accent,
and the custom costume.
