Our Mission:

Jane Addams was a woman of great character and inspiration. She changed the lives of people around her and the lives of future generations. Our team mission was to learn together the accomplishments of Miss Addams and how they have affected our lives today. We learned about Miss Addams’ life, the people she helped, all about the Hull House and what it entailed. We showed them how Miss Addams’ made their lives better by teaching them what she did for children’s playgrounds and women’s suffrage. We talked about character and what it means to make your community a better place to live. These children now have a better understanding of who Miss Addams’ was as a person, what she did for the people around her, and how she changed our lives today.
