Subject: 10g OEM
A little of the subject but....any experts on 10gR2 OEM?  What is the best way to learn 
more about it.  ANy good book suggestions?  CD's?  Trying to avoid taking off and going 
to week long classes.

Once i had a chance to see the OCP books published by oracle university
press. I found them  very good and looks like it was desgined for self
learing.

Thanks Paras.  I'll take a look.  The manuals are sometimes so dry and hard to 
understand.  I have mainly been learning by example but would like to dig deeper 
because 10g OEM has so much to offer.

Check this link. Self test software has good packages, watch for discounts they offer 
some times. When I start preparing for My OCP I will go through them for first two 
levels, these are economical and offers well prepared material.

I do not recall getting too many questions on EM in OCP. However the
best way to learn EM is to try and test it out by clicking on the
various features/tools provided. Oracle has completely redesigned EM in
10g for better monitoring and made it a really powerful monitoring and
administration tool. The wait events monitoring along with SQL tuning
capabilities with profiles are 2 things I like most in 10gEM so far.
