In his life, it is thought that Mozart wrote over 600 pieces of music.
This included:

• 50 symphonies,
• 25 piano concertos,
• 12 violin concertos,
• 27 concert arias,
• 26 string quartets,
• 15 Masses,
• 21 opera works,
• And many more!!

This is amazing for anyone not to mention that he was only 35 when he died.  That works out to more than 20 pieces a year.
