Blackfeet Reflection Page

Our Project W.O.W. group learned about the Lewis and Clark expedition. We spent four months researching this expedition. We learned about Thomas Jefferson, Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, The expedition, Native Americans, Sacagewea, York, plants, animals, foods, and the journey westward. We did a variety of activities which included posters, worksheets, a newspaper article, watched a video, and made our web site. We had a lot of fun working as a team on this project.

More Questions...

Why did the Indians think that Lewis and Clark were bad?

Why do Lewis and Clark have a slave named York?

Was it uncomfortable for Clark and York to be friends?

Why did Lewis and Clark need to find a route to the Pacific Ocean?

How much was the Louisiana Purchase?

How did they know where to go?

How did they measure the mileage?

What was the most common animal that they found?

This book was another source that we used throughout the semester. It had a lot of facts and stories that weren't otherwise discussed.
