My name is Alena.  I'm nine years old and I am in third grade.  My teacher is Mrs.Miller.  Hobbies I like are swimming, basketball, tennis, ceramics, and horse back riding.  This semester in project WOW, we have been learning about Louis and Clark.  My favorite thing we've done in Project WOW so far is making are web site.  I think that it was right for Louis and Clark to go on the expedition  because if they hadn't we would not know what was out there at the time.

 

My name is Austin.  I am nine years old.  I'm in third grade.  My teacher is Mrs. Conwell.  My hobbies include playing football, swimming, and running.  In Project WOW, I have learned about the Lewis and Clark expedition.  My favorite things we have done this semester include working on the computer to make a web page about Lewis and Clark.  I think the Lewis and Clark expedition was important because they explored the new land bought in the Louisiana Purchase, and found a water routes toward the Pacific Ocean.

 

My name is Hannah J.  I am nine years old and I am in the third grade.  Mrs. Miller is my teacher.  My hobbies are playing soccer and basketball.  My favorite part of Project WOW was working on the computers.  I have learned about Lewis and Clark and how they thought prairie dogs were barking squirrels.  I think that the expedition was important because they met many different Indians.  They also found animals and plants that they have not seen before.  The expedition was also important because we wouldn't know what was out there if the expedition didn't happen.

 

My name is Quintin.  I am nine years old.  I'm in third grade and my teacher is Mrs. Miller.  I like to play all sports and video games.  I learned about the Lewis and Clark expedition and the Indians they met.  My favorite part of Project WOW was making the concept map using the Inspiration program.  The expedition was important because we found out what was on the land that we got and made peace and friends with the Indians.

 

My name is Mahir.  I am eight years old.  My teacher is Mrs. Miller and I am in third grade.  My hobbies are playing basketball, video games, and working on computers.  I learned about Lewis and Clark, many Indian tribes, and the animals that they saw.  My favorite part of Project WOW was making the concept map with the Inspiration program.  I think that the expedition was important because we found out what was on the land that we bought.  We also formed peace with the Indians.

My name is Jessica.  I am 21 years old, and I am a Senior at Eastern Illinois University.  My professor's name is Mrs. Barford and I am an elementary education major with a concentration in biological science.  My hobbies include horseback riding, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking, cross-stitching, and crocheting.  My favorite part of Project WOW was teaching, learning, and growing with the children.  I especially enjoyed helping to make this web site to display all of the things we worked on and learned about.

My name is Trish. I am 21 years old, and a senior at Eastern Illinois University. I am in Project WOW under the direction of Mrs. Barford. I am an Elementary Education major with a concentration in English. My hobbies include singing, playing guitar, traveling, and playing sports. My favorite part of being in Project WOW was being able to teach a small group of students. I enjoyed working on a variety of activities with this group throughout the semester. My name is Aaron Fedanzo-Dudley.  I am 22 years old and a senior at Eastern Illinois University.  I am a member of Project WOW which is a hands on class, that works with a third grade class room throughout the semester.  I enjoy being out doors and playing any sport.
