Nez Perce
The Nez Perce Indians are Indians that lived in north-central
Idaho. "Nez Perce" means "pierced noses." Although few Indians
pierced their noses, the Nez Perce pierced their noses to show who they
were. The French gave the Nez Perce Indians their name.
